Soy Sauce
1   Whole fresh ham (uncured) - 10 to 15 pounds
Paula Deen’s House Seasoning

Rub ham well with soy sauce and then thoroughly coat with House Seasoning making sure to cover all surfaces.  Sprinkle seasonings liberally until the ham is completely covered (don’t worry about over-seasoning).  Place uncovered in oven preheated at 325 degrees for 18-20 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees on a meat thermometer.  When done, let the ham rest for a few minutes before slicing.

I have fixed this ham 3 years in a row and will do it again tomorrow. I get RAVE reviews from my guests and I love it too. The only change is that I use the low sodium soy sauce and cut the amount of salt used, but double up on the pepper and garlic. Thank you Paula for providing this wonderful recipe. I would have never thought to do this before and now I don't make it any other way!
