Difficulty: Easy
1 pound chicken wings, washed thoroughly
Salt
2 sticks of butter
1 (10 ounce) jar of pepper jelly
Using a fryer or a large pot, heat oil to 350 degrees F.
Cut the chicken wings at the joint to yield a wingette and drumette from each wing. Season wings with salt. Deep fry the wings until golden and crispy, approximately 12-15 minutes.
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add pepper jelly and continually whisk for 5-10 minutes or until it lightly bubbles. Turn heat down to low and allow to simmer as wings continue to cook. When wings are ready, add directly to pan and toss.
Serve immediately with blue cheese and carrots or celery.
