Sandwich Night!

Sandwich Night!

By The Paula Deen Test Kitchen

What do you put between two slices of bread? It’s question most of us face on a daily basis. Not the same old, same old anymore! Here are five suggestions anyone can use to add some pizzazz to their sandwich routine.

Grilling your sandwiches is a great way to make an ordinary sandwich extraordinary. Don’t want to worry about heating up the outside grill? Use your indoor grill, griddle or sandwich press to make a Panini.

If you find yourself not having enough time to enjoy a filling breakfast in the mornings, try throwing together a quick breakfast sandwich and taking it on the go. Or treat yourself on the weekend and in the evenings to more extravagant breakfast sandwich like this Sausage, Pancake and Egg Sandwich.

imageUse Leftovers
Reinvent last night’s dinner into today’s out-of-this world lunch. Meatloaf, roast, grilled chicken, or prime ribs all make great proteins to add to your sandwiches. Standard lunch meat sandwiches are fine, but don’t be afraid to kick your sandwiches up a notch with one of these more specialty meats.

Think outside of your bread! Have fun with your sandwiches, like with this dressed up version of sloppy joes. Hearty, and totally filling, these sandwiches are nearly as much fun to eat, as they are to make. Just be sure to have plenty of towels handy!

Don’t ask us why, but eating things in miniature is just more fun! Take your favorite sandwich fillings and stick them in little sliders- it’s makes them easier to share. Sliders perfect social appetizers too, so take them to parties or whip some up when you’re entertaining guests.
