  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 (.55 oz) packet fat-free hot cocoa mix
  • 4 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 1/4 cup fat-free chocolate syrup
  • 3 tablespoons fat free half and half
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Whisk together the water, cocoa mix and coffee in a small bowl until the cocoa and coffee are completely dissolved. Whisk in the chocolate syrup and half and half. Let the mocha mixture cool 5 minutes.

Place the ice cubes in a blender. Add the mocha mixture and blend until the mixture is smooth and the ice is finely crushed. Serve immediately.

Test Kitchen Tip: Make sure to use a blender and not a food processor when combining the ingredients. The blade of a food processor is not intended to crush ice and it may damage the blade.

I seriously did

I seriously did not want to do my work out this morning. I came up with all kinds of insane excuses, but I remembered this recipe I ran across just the other day, and remembered I had got the few ingredients I needed to make it, and decided if I did my work out, I would make this for myself afterwards as a reward for getting off my butt. Oh I am so glad I did my work out! This is worth it! This tastes absolutely sinful!!! But it's not! It's the perfect treat for anyone who loves chocolate and coffee. Perfect for a hot day, and best of all, it doesn't taste fat free at all! No one would ever know. Trust me, I've always turned my nose up at fat free products, but this just works so well. You must try it! Paula and Bobby, you're geniuses!!
