You can get the mint wafers at Walmart food area, Kroger, Food Lion etc. They are in the cookie area, usually 40 to a box and are a thin chocolate wafer with a choc mint icing that melts into the cookie when you bake it. My Mom used to make these years and years ago but she always made her own cookie dough. Additionally you can use the little Reece cups, miniture Milky Ways or Snickers in the middle of the twolayers of sugar cookie for a easy, nice surprise cookie. Good luck and enjoy!
