Hi y'all, We're coming to see you in September on our Honeymoon (we're both 79 years and just got married April 2nd!!!! I used to make a Trifle with devil foods cake, crushed heath bars, choclate pudding (instant) and of course cool whip (layers of each) Have I left anything out (maybe a little Grand Marnier) HEH? Family are coming in August for my husband's 80th birthday and I think that would be a great desert to serve them. Agree or do you have anything to add?? Would love to hear from you. My name is Elaine Brown Mattes, ebcay108@ec.rr.com.

Some time ago I was watching a show where you made a dessert that sounded so wonderful I went right out and bought the Pecan Sandies which was the base of the recipe. For the life of me I cannot remember what the recipe was. Any help for me? I also thank you for the recipe for Best Crab Casserole. That resureccted a long lost recipe of my grandmothers. The only difference was that she also added shrimp with the crab. I am very happy to have that recipe again. I love your show and watch it religiously......even most of the repeats. My 6-year old grandson loves to watch Paula "Dane" with his father. I wonder why his father started watching it??????? Family tradition. Love ya Pat Beazer

What's a blondie? The recipe says, "crumble the blondies into chunks"? What is it talking about?
