I make an onion pie that everybody love & your recipe is the closest I've seen to my recipe I add cheese & no sour cream. But this recipe is the closet thing I have seen to my onion Pie, I had a friend who made Onion Pie & I just changed up his recipe to make it my own. I am tickled that our recipes are so similar.

I first made this recipe for myself and children as a "try it" recipe. Once my KIDS (who by the way dont care for onions too often) absolutely LOVED the pie, I decided to make it for Thanksgiving as a side dish to take to my aunts. I only made one to take, and it was unfortunate that i hadnt made more, it was the BIGGEST HIT. Now it is requested EACH and EVERY time I go to a family gathering! Thank GOODNESS ITS SUPER EASY TO MAKE! Thanks Paula!
