A bone in roast will cook faster than a boneless roast because the bone conducts heat.

1/3 cup grated Swiss
1/3 cup grated Jack
1/3 cup grated Colby

THERE IS A TYPO!!! FOUND THE FOOD NETWORK VERSION AND IT CALLS FOR 3 EGGS INSTEAD OF 6. Based on all you're reviews this makes sense, so I recommend anyone trying this to use 3 eggs NOT 6.

I also think it has to be a typo!!! WAY to many eggs!!!!!!!!!! But if it wasn't for that, I think I would have loved it. The flavor was exactly what I was looking for... just more like pasta, and less like egg bake!!!

This recipe is the best one I've found. The blend of the 5 cheeses are exceptional. I make this recipe for holiday's such as Thxgiving and Christmas, and since the first time, I must make it every holiday upon family memebers request. I add Velvetta for a even creamier/richer texture and taste.

I tried this several times and found it was too dry. I reduced the eggs, increased the milk and changed the cheeses. I like Feta cheese so I used it instead of Muenster. It gives the dish a little different taste but I liked it, so did my family.

The flavor wasn't bad, as I used a ton of expensive cheese. But, it was more like a macaroni and cheese omelet. I doubled the recipe and used 12 eggs my guests were not so impressed. I think perhaps it is a typo????? Please Paula review this recipe and let me know if you really meant 6 eggs..

This is BY FAR the BEST mac & cheese I have ever tasted. Everyone who tried it tonight at dinner agrees! I didn't change anything about the recipe. I used an additional 1/4 cup of each cheese for topping & sprinkled it on before putting it in the oven to cook. I can't wait to make this again!

I made this for an office party and it was a hit! gone in about 10 min and people wanted to know if more was comin! FABULOUS! i would recommend putting extra cheese on top and an extra 2 table spoons of butter... it helps keep it from getting dry!

O! I say about Paula's recipes- "Moment on your lips and lifetime on your hip" well worth it- Although I made it 3 times- Paula's way, My way with 1 less egg and the "chubby girl trying to get out way" thats with 1/2 cups of all the cheeses and lordy lord- the last way is a MUST TRY!!! I just made this recipe and am so DISAPPOINTED. It is very bland - and expensive to make. I cooked it for less time than the recipe calls for because I could see that it was becoming dry. It was still very dry. Awful.

This is the best mac and cheese I have ever had. Something this delicious can only come from Paula Deen. And it must be unhealthy, too. Who the hell cares?!!

This is the best! I made it for my Aunt who was taking cancer treatments and couldn't cook. She loved it. Did I mention she's 87 and wanted the recipe. Made me proud. Thanks Paula.
