A bone in roast will cook faster than a boneless roast because the bone conducts heat.

I just made it for the first time. My family loved it so its a keeper. By the end of dinner it was all gone =) However I think it needs a little more salt, I use 5 cups of mac, 4 cups of cheddar and half n half. Thank you Deen!!!

I was excited to make this recipe, because other recipes of Paula's Ive made have turned out great. My 11 yr. old daughter helped and it was an easy recipe to follow............but we found it to be dry and lacking in "WOW". Maybe next time we'll add some Velveeta or a can of cheddar soup. This receipe was great. Even my kids who only want to eat Mac N Cheese from the box loved it. I still prefer Paula's Macaroni and Cheese receipe she makes in the crock pot, however, this one is fast and easy and contains ingredients we all have on hand.

I can definitely see why this is on the top ten recipe list. I made this with a fiesta blend cheese (its what I had). My family LOVED IT!! It is going to be my next Pot Luck Dish as it is easy, quick, and delicious!! Thanks Paula

This was pretty easy to make, but I thought it lacked flavor. Wish it were cheesier and creamier.

I have tried this recipe, and soon after I took it out of my oven, all gone. Yes, my family loved it.

I love this recipe, I make it all the time. I add a little more salt, and sometimes I'll cube half a block of Velveeta and bake it in... Super unhealthy, but it makes it so flavorful.

This is the best mac & cheese I have tasted! My family loved this, have made it twice so far, and it is a keeper. I used 6 cups of cooked macaroni, and it was still cheesy and creamy.

This recipe was so easy to make, and made for a delightful dish for everybody! I inadvertantly doubled it, as i made twice as many noodles, but it still worked out well.

It was good except tasted too eggy. Ive never put eggs in my mac n cheese. Maybe Ill try it with 1 egg instead of 3.

I would like it to be a little more creamier & cheesier. It didn't seem to have much of a flavor.

I add a little more salt and cheese - but it is WONDERFUL the original way. It's almost as easy to make as Kraft (and much tastier) - makes you want to cook homemade mac and cheese every time!

THIS is what friends and family have started asking for! A friend introduced me to the recipe and I've been using it ever since. The sour cream puts it over the top :). ~ Robin http://pensieve.typepad.com/pensieve/
