Recipe Courtesy of Paula DeenServings: 3 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
2 tablespoon butter
Paula Deen’s House Seasoning
2 tablespoon grated onion
3 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley leaves
1 1/2 lb ground beef
3 eggs
6 slices bacon, cooked
3 hamburger buns
3 english muffins
6 glazed donuts
Mix the ground beef, chopped parsley and grated onion together in a large mixing bowl. Season liberally, with House Seasoning. Form 3 hamburger patties.
Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Add the burgers and cook until desired temperature, 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
Fry bacon in a hot pan until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels. Set aside.
While burgers are cooking, heat a non-stick pan, over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons butter. Crack 3 eggs into the pan. Cook until the yolks are just set and still slightly runny and remove.
Place burger patties on English muffins or buns, and if desired, on glazed donuts, as the buns. Top each burger with 2 pieces of bacon and a fried egg.

I bet this sucker is tasty like nobody's business...but at 1800 calories...that's enough caloric intake for a whole day and then some! They should rename it "The Lady's Last Supper."

This is incredible, and tastes delicious. Paula Deen doesn't owe you or anyone an apology for her health problem, nor has she ever pretended to be a custodian of healthy living. She also isn't accountable for others' enjoyment of her indulgent cooking. No one forces you to watch Paula Deen. If you are so offended by recipes such as this one then go read "Eating Well" magazine and chew on some saltine crackers. Anyone who watches Paula Deen regularly and is *shocked* that recipes like this one might contribute to health problems needs to retake high school health class and hold themselves accountable. I love Paula's Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding and make it regularly. Those commentors below who espouse the need to *censor* recipes that they think are too fattening need to check themselves and read "Fahrenheit 451". Sorry, my oven usually only goes to 400.

Lol at blaming Paula Deen for making people fat, diabetes or no. This is the same argument levied at McDonalds a few years ago. Guess what, Paula's recipes don't make you fat, your own inability to compensate for excess calories like the above does. Eating something like this once in a great while can totally be offset by restrictions in other meals and/or exercise.

The Lady's Brunch Burger. I used to watch Paula from time to time. But since I have seen the Lady's Brunch Burger, I will never again. Paula should be ashamed of herself. It's appalling and disgusting. She doesn't even have the professionalism to include the Fat or Calorie count. Good by Paula. HAVE A NICE LIFE!! Frank

I will say a few things. I've not made this burger, and it does not look that great, but I would try it. But, for you individuals to come on here and scold people or Paula because of the publishing of this.. you are idiots. Well, you prove we are all entitled to our opinion, but so WHAT if it is unhealthy.. Things can be eaten in moderation or on occasion that will not kill you. Give me a break.

Paula explains that she promotes everything in moderation (so is therefore not responsible for promoting recipes that cause, say, Type II diabetes). That is why she recommends eating only 1/10 of this burger for a meal.

This is just plain gross and if walked for one minute in our beautiful city and saw the amount of fat people who actually would eat this and not exercise you should be ashamed. And, accountable for deceiving your "customers".
By Amy on January 18, 2012
Imagine the gall it must take to pump this recipe while having undisclosed Type II Diabetes. Paula, you owe a big, heartfelt apology to your fans. Better yet, show that you are serious by having this recipe taken it down on the grounds that it is unduly hazardous to everyone's health.

There is no way I could eat this as a meal.. I can't stand sweet meats ..I was born and raised in the south and it grosses me out to even see people eat syrup on their sausage..Much less sugary hamburgers .and bacon....eww... I would have to seperate this to eat it. and for different times of the day.. runny eggs.... {ohhhh vomit} I guess I just have a weak stomach...My eggs have to be cooked well... to each their own I suppose. But Paula.. I do love ya gal.. and you are such a beatiful lady... hugs to ya.

Not very original...we have this at the NC State Fair! It's called the Krispy Kreme burger (it just doesn't have the egg).

I think this would be really good with a sausage patty instead of the hamburger. I haven't tried this as yet but sausage seems like it would be really good too.

I would love to try this. Of course,it's not something I would eat but maybe once or twice in a lifetime. I LOVE donuts but only have one perhaps every 6 or 8 months. It's just too fattening but I do love the sweet and salty flavors. Of course you could probably cut down the calories and fat by using egg whites, veggie burger, one lean strip of bacon, use a donut but cut it in half and then go workout for two hours. :o)

C'mon...Paula! This is a heart attack in the making. Such over kill, Donuts, red meat, eggs, bacon and butter...so not necessary. Y'all enjoy Y'all's heart attacks and strokes.

My brother who lives in Winston -Salem goes to the fair every year for this. He swears it's the best thing ever - I can't wait to have one. The closest thing I have had to this would be the McGriddles at McDonalds - they are delish!
By Elizabeth on October 11, 2011
Great my girls love it!!
By Mary K Mendoza on October 11, 2011
Sounds delish ! I saw burgers made at a ballgame on TV & he used glazed Krispy Kremes as buns. It was on a M V F show. So glad to see it made so I would have the recipe. Thanks Paula !!!!

No different than having sausage between pancakes. Yum!! Funny my coworkers and I were just talking about combos to make with donuts and unique add in. I was thinking of a donut smore. LOL
