Recipe Courtesy of Paula DeenPaula’s version of candied nuts are sweet but with a bite!
Servings: 4-6 Servings
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 25 min
Difficulty: Easy
1 large egg white
1 cup cashews, unsalted
1/2 cup pecan halves, unsalted
1/2 cup almonds, whole and unsalted
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon Paula Deen Collection Southern Spice Rub
1/2 teaspoon Paula Deen Collection Paprika Spice Blend
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside. In a large bowl whisk one egg until foamy. Stir in the nuts until well coated (any combination of nuts will work). Stir in sugar and Paula Deen spices and rosemary; toss with nuts until coated. Pour nut mixture out onto the foil lined baking sheet, making sure to spread out in an even layer. Bake, stirring often, until golden—about 20-25 minutes . Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
