Even tho one can get the recipe for Paula's House Seasoning I have run across several of her recipes that do call for some of her products that does have to be purchased. So, I do agree with KS Freeman. Paula is getting way too commercial for me too. I liked the "old" "real people" Paula better. She has become too loud and her laugh has finally gotten on my nerves. Paula, you need to tone it down!

Hi there Paula. My family and I love you and your family. You are precious and your talent in the kitchen is wonderful! You have a natural love for life and people and it shows. It radiates through the television screen. I wish critics would be more critical about the trash that comes on t.v. instead of attacking people such as yourself. You have love and talent that can only come from God. I will pray for you that you can and will be all you can be through your t.v. shows. You uplift us and help us to appreciate all things God has given us. I was raised poor also Paula, but we can work and do what God wants us to do and yes he does the rest. Take care of yourself and keep shining bright because I know that it is hard, but you can and will do. LOVE YOU AND YOURS,sisters in Christ, Cajun Jo.

@ KS Freeman - Click on House Seasoning in the ingredient list, they give you the recipe for it. There is no need to buy anything, the House Seasoning is 3 ingredients everyone has on hand.

I think it is RUDE to give a recipe that requires you to purchase your spice mix in order to complete the dish. GREED stinks. I'll make it on my own without you.

Excellent! Substituted ham for the bacon and it was a hit with everyone, young and old at my house. Thanks!
