Servings: 8 to 10 servings
Prep Time: 4 hours
Cook Time: 30 min
Difficulty: Easy
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1 small onion, grated
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 center-cut ham slices (1 1/2 inches thick)
In a blender, combine the broth, peanut butter, honey, onion, garlic, soy sauce, Kitchen Bouquet, and pepper. Put the ham in a shallow glass dish, pour the marinade over it and marinate for 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator. Prepare a charcoal fire. Cook approximately 15 minutes per side over glowing coals. Carve into 1-inch-thick slices. This sauce is also excellent with lamb or pork chops.
I LOVE this recipe. People turn their noses up when they hear the ingredients and then they taste it. Yum. Thanks, Paula and Ron

I have made this three times and each time it is a hit. Everyone loves it! Especially those who like a hint of Thai flavors.
