Recipe Courtesy of Paula DeenServings: 1 pork chop per person
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 20 min
Difficulty: Easy
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce per person
2 canned pineapple slices per person
1 slice green bell pepper per person
1 slice red onion per person
1 boneless pork chop per person
1 tablespoon margarine or butter per person
salt and pepper
For each serving, lay a pork chop on a large square of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Top each chop with the onion, green pepper, and pineapple slices. Drizzle with the teriyaki sauce. Top with the margarine and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Wrap tightly in the foil, rolling ends to completely seal the package. Freeze or refrigerate.
When ready to eat, place packages directly in coals for 15-20 minutes. Check to see if the pork chop is cooked through; rewrap and cook a little longer if necessary.

Paula, I watch your show everyday, I lost my job in Jan 2011 and have been unable to find work. So needless to say we are on a very strict budget but I love to watch you and your family everyday it truly brings a smile to my face and for an hour each day I forget about everything else..plus you have some really good ideas..I don't always have all the ingredients but I make do with what we have and they have all turned out really good..my husband loves them.Tonight I made the pork chop and pineapple pouches and he said kudos Paula Deen..I laughed because he knew it was yours.. I wish you the best the new year has to offer and wanted to say thanks for always cheering me up. Sincerely, Jennifer Thompson

Fast, easy, quick and delicious! As an in-home hospice nurse, I am exhausted when I come home. This recipe was easy to make when I was pressed for time. My hubby even got to fire up his grill!

Excellent!! I never make pork because it has a tendency to be tough. This was tender and delicious!

I just made a variation of this. I never have everything I need so I used granny smith apples in the place of the pinapples, used the red onion still and the slab of butter on top but instead of teriyaki I used Lawry's Hawiian Marinade...OHHH MYYY GOODDDDNESS!! This was the best pork chop I have ever eaten!!

It's really a 10 but 5 is the highest rating. We sometimes use chicken instead of the pork and it's great too.
