We liked it! I added chocolate chunks. Will make again and either increase sugar slightly or add some honey. With jam (as Paula suggests) it would be fine because of the extra sweetness of the jam, but if you are serving it plain and prefer a sweeter bread maybe try doubling the sugar. It was very moist and a beautiful color!

I wrote this down while watching it on tv a long time ago and was very disappointed when I made it, however I have made many many bread with this as a "base"... cranbery, coffee, chocolate, banana, cinamon (sp), etc.

This was awful! I am so disappointed. This tasted like salty bread. I had to make an icing to go with as this bread by itself was terrible but then you could only taste the icing so that was a wrap. A complete waste of time. DO NOT TRY W/O making adjustments of your own. I hate that I didn't read the reviews until it was too late. UGH!

This is awful! I came to the website to find out if I copied it down wrong from the show because I saw it had no eggs/ oil/butter. While on here I saw the reviews so I only cooked mine 35 mins. & it's moist but tasted like salty bread. ICK.! You couldn't tell it had peanut butter or sugar in it. I made a peanut butter icing to go with it since the reviews were bad but now you can't taste the bread so what's the point. UGH!

This turned out really dry and bland. It was embarrassing when I served it at a party.

Was this recipe posted correctly? We could not taste the peanut butter, and it turned out really dry. I reduced the amount of baking powder to 2 tsp. but it didn't help.

I used muffin pan and the kids seemed to like it with jelly or flav-cream cheese just reduce baking time. Seems like a lot of baking powder?
