I made this recipe for Thanksgiving and the taste was out of this world. My only complaint is that it is so runny. I looked over the recipe again and I did everything right, it was even refrigerated for at least 5-6 hours. Any suggestions?

I cant quite remember how I came across this recipe, nonetheless...so glad I did. Super easy and always a hit. I now have passed it along (as "Tinas famous banana Pudding"!!) to my siblings as they are now old enough to have their own families and actually help cook during the holidays. Thank you so much Paula ![]()

My best friend made this for Thanksgiving to take to her families get together, and brought home what was left for me, kowing that I have always adored banana pudding over any other dessert in the world. This sent me OVER THE MOON sith it's delishness, and the presentation was ve better than YOUR pictire, Paula, it was a HUGE HIT with everyone, and will now become a staple at every dinner/feast we go to, not only have w eaten it for days, we talk of just about nothing else, as none of us have ever tasted anything else that even comes close! THIS IS HEAVENLY! Was more like NY style cheesecake than pudding! Hate to ask, but do yu know the calories and fat grams for each serving,? We gals DO havbe to watch how and how much we eat after 50 more than ever, thanx Paula, Patricia <3

Last year for Thanksgiving dinner for the family I made this pudding. It was SOOOOO delicious that I’m making it again this year for Thanksgiving!
By Sandy Peterson-Clauser on November 24, 2010
This is SO-O-O-O good. I cannot eat bananas, but the taste of the pudding before topping the banana slices is so rich and creamy. I like to dip the cookies in it and taste the pudding. My family and everyone else who has tasted it comments that it is the very best they’ve tasted.

I love this banana pudding recipe! I made it about 9 years ago when I first saw it on Paulas show. When I wanted to make it again I could not find the recipe anywhere. I am so glad to see it again!! YEAH!

Cindy, you can dip your bananas in lemon juice to keep them from turning dark. It works for me, hope it does for you too
By Pat on October 01, 2010
Is there anything i can dip the banana slices in to keep them from turning black so quickly. Thanks,Cindy

This is by far the BEST banana pudding I’ve ever had. I’m from the south and have had MANY versions of this southern delight, but this one is the best! It is so easy and is a wonderful potluck or picnic dish (just keep refrigerated until serving). I always get requests for the recipe. This recipe is a family favorite!
