I was at a friend's house last night and she served your No Fail Pound Cake as her dessert - It was absolutely incredible. I have never had pound cake this good. I came home and printed out your recipe and will be making this for my family very soon. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I tried this recipe tonight and must say I did not like it at all! It came out rubbery. I think it needs more butter and less baking time. This was the first Paula recipe I did not like. Oh well.

Paula, I would like to know if you have your quotes written somewhere. You know the ones, like: "Honey, I'm your cook, not your nurse" I've heard several on her shows but would love to print them all and hang them in my kitchen. Paula, you're the best thing since grits!

Love your show and recipes, thanks for sharing. If you find a pound cake that is made with powdered sugar instead of regular sugar PLEASE let me know. My grandmother used to make one with a pound box of confection sugar but we never wrote the recipe down and now she is gone and no one can remember the exact recipe. Thanks and God bless....

I followed the directions exactly. My cake came out more like a twist between a sponge cake and tad of angel food cake. Tough and chewy a little dry too. Is it suppose to be dry? Help what did I do wrong?

I have made this cake 8-10 times.I like to add 2-3 packages of Jello sugar-free instant pudding to the mix. My favorite flavor is cheesecake. Sometimes I will add coconut flavor pudding and coconut extract. Makes the house smell great while it bakes. When I bake it and take it to a christian retreat weekend,it does not last the whole weekend. I enjoy the simplicity of the recipe. THANKS PAULA.. George Davis
