Last year, just prior to my birthday, my sister asked what my favorite cake was. I never dreamed she'd actually bake these for me! This recipe is fantastic! Best of all, they freeze well too. Just nuke them and the lava flows. She made more for me this year and has now started a tradition. I don't mind being a year older if it means receiving these little lava gems!

My sister in-law made these cakes and she said it was easy and are they super good. She did not have simi-sweet chocolate only bittersweet and they were still super good. Can't wait to try them myself.

These are excellent! Have made them 3 times, and perfect every time. I bake for about 12 minutes in dark non-stick big muffin pan.

This is absolutely delish! I prepared it earlier in the day and put it in the oven after dinner. Simple, simple, simple. When I put ice cream on top, it actually sizzled a bit. Thanks for the great recipe.

Couldn't be easier to make and turned out exactly as their name describes!! Lava really flows out when you cut into the cake!! I've made a much more complex recipe that didn't have the lava that these do! Wonderful ending to any special meal!
