Ingredients Add to grocery list

6   ears of corn
6   4-inch smoked sausage link sausage
12   red new potatoes
3 lb fresh shrimp, unpeeled
Crab boil, 2 teaspoons per quart of water

Directions

Fill a large pot with enough water to cover all of the ingredients. Add the crab boil and bring to a boil. Adjust the crab boil to suit your taste. When the water boils, add the potatoes and sausage. Cook on medium heat for 20 minutes. Add corn and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Add shrimp and cook for no more than 3 minutes. Drain and serve with warm bread.

First time I had ever attempted a Low Country Boil, and my family absolutely loved it!!!

i love paula, she is the greatest cook ever. i could watch her 23 hours a day. i`d have to have 1 hour for my soap. her low-country boil is out of this world. i have several of her cookbooks and i am yet to find a recipe that isn`t out of this world. ya`ll really need to try them. you won`t be sorry.

We have made this several times for get togethers. Everyone truly enjoys!!! We also add the Old Bay Powder Seasoning. Really gives it some extra kick. Marcella

I liked the recipe better when she added melted butter with parsley and garlic that you could dip your corn and bread into. But truly a tasty, filling meal. Best with cajun sausage
