Servings: 6 to 8 servings
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 5 min
Difficulty: Easy
1 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoon Paula Deen’s House Seasoning
2 cup flour
1 lb fresh green beans
1 bunch green onions, cut into strips
oil for frying
Blanche the green onions so they are easier to work with. Bundle about 5 green beans by tying in the center with a green onion strip. Combine house seasoning and flour. Dip green beans in buttermilk and roll into flour mixture. In a deep frying pan or dutch oven, heat oil to 350 degrees and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
