So surprised to find this....have been making this one since the late '70!! I always make a double batch, one is not enough for a party. For large parties I scoop the ice cream into cupcakes liners to make it easier to serve.

I love ice cream but hate sugar free. I am a diabetic, what can I use instead of the condensed milk to get the sugar count down?

My girls and I loved this recipe. It was so good and we had a great time making it together. We are going to make it again and try to use different things.

This is an excellent recipe. The texture is sooooo nice that I also used it to create a cherry vanilla ice cream which turned out great, too. I highly recommend this one to anyone, especially all of you non-ice cream eaters.
