Hi Donna, Yes, any unscented handsoap will work best.

what is the hand soap mentioned in this recipe, is it any regular had soap bought in the store?

Hi Kami, You can find those bottles in your local craft supply store.

What liquid soap do you use?
By Cheryl Brown on July 24, 2011
Instead of using liquid hand soap, try using a natural castille. MUCH better for your skin, without all the yucky ingredients.
Also, someone asked if this would be good as a body wash, and it would be. Your skin might be a little slick in the shower, but it'll be SO soft after.
With the fact that it doesn't use water (and honey and oil don't go bad on their own without water) this has a super long shelf life. Six months at the least, a year is a good estimate (as long as you don't put water in it).

Does anyone know how long, as in life, these products will last before they go bad OR do they even go bad?
By Reagan on March 14, 2011
Does anyone know if this can be used as a body wash? I don't take many "baths", so this would be great if could use in the shower.
