This sound great! sorry i hope you all dont think im dunmb but i have a question, so the spray can be used any time to refreash the face or was it meant for out side use? also it call's for 2 lemons would that be 2 whole lemons or 1 cut in half. And last, was it calls to remove the peels but then leave one in each bottle so do i keep a peel in each bottle? Thanks so much. love love you paula!!!

Hi, Sounds great, but I would not heat the water up, as Vit C is destroyed by heat. Just steep in cold water over night.

Citrus is known to increase photo-sensitivity drastically. It would NOT be a good idea to put this on your skin if you are (or are going to be) in the sun. You're at a much higher risk of burning. To suggest using this at the beach or in the ultra-reflectivity of a snowy environment is a really, really bad idea. At the very least it should carry a warning so people know what they may be in for.

So glad I found this recipe! I recently had a facial and I asked "what will help minimize my pores?" She said "citrus - vitamin C" and proceeded to try to sell me a very small bottle of what smelled like lime juice for about $40. And as this recipe, you just mist it on your clean face. My ingredients are currently steeping on the counter - I can't wait to try it in the morning!

Thank you for these simple ideas! I LOVE them. And just came back from the store with fresh organic lemons to use with dinner. I am going to have to set a couple aside. Now I need to go back and get some honey! Paula, you have been a favorite of mine for several years. Thanks for your humor and homey approach to TV cooking! ~Kim in Denver

So, how to use the lemon spray?
By betty on February 01, 2011
Just a thought...maybe you could give directions to the "Spa" items made so that everyone will know how to use them and what purpose each is for....I am looking forward to trying all that were listed...always have loved to give homemade gifts...so much more personal and the thought that went into them, is priceless...
