Excellent!! I've made it half-a-dozen times over the last two months! The pimentos and chestnuts were not appreciated so I removed them from the recipe and added two table spoons of salsa! Thank you Miss Paula!

I wanted to try something different for dinner so I made this dish. I loved it but my husband was not so fond of it. He ate it, he's just so used to eating the same things. I will try it again for him. Overall, I thought the dish was very tasty and was easy to make.

Each time I have served this everyone is well pleased and has to have the recipe. Myself, I love it. I keep one in the freezer (uncooked) for emergencies. Wrap it well in foil. Write the name of the recipe along with cooking directions and date on the foil. I, then rewrap it tightly with plastic wrap. Put away in the freezer and you have a wonderful dish for home, sick neighbor, church, etc. I often devide it between two smaller dishes. Thank you, Paula.

I had this at Harrah's Tunica, and I swear it had asparagus in it. The first time I made it I followed the recipe and it was close, but now quite there, the second time I substituted one can of green beans for asparagus, and now I just use asparagus instead of green beans altogether, and double the cheese. Also, I'm pushing 35 to 45 minutes before it gets bubbly, but that just may be my oven...

I made this recipe for my husband, my VERY picky 19 year old nephew and one of his friends. They LOVED it. I added more cheese to the mixture, added french fried onions on top (or you could use ritz crackers with melted butter) and more shredded cheese on top. Yumm -o.
