Cook Time: 1 hour

1 stick margarine
1 small onion
2 cans beef consomme
1 cup rice
Cut onion into small pieces. Chip margarine over onion, add rice, then consomme. Bake, covered, in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

This recipe is fantastic! I have had this recipe in my family for a long time now. I can remember my grandma and mom making it for me as a child growing up. Now I am making it for my family. The taste of the rice in this recipe is out of this world good! It's a staple in my household!
