A bone in roast will cook faster than a boneless roast because the bone conducts heat.

Bill Nicholson’s Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding

This sinfully sweet dessert feeds a crowd.

Ingredients:

1   pinch salt
1   9 ounce box raisins
2   Eggs, beaten
2   4.5-oz cans fruit cocktail (undrained)
1   14-oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk (not evaporated)
2 dozen Krispy Kreme Donuts
1 or 2 teaspoon cinnamon

Butter Rum Sauce:
1 stick butter
1 pound box confectioner’s sugar
Rum to taste

Directions

Cube donuts into a large bowl.  Pour other ingredients on top of donuts and let soak for a few minutes.  Mix all ingredients together until donuts have soaked up the liquid as much as possible.

Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour until center has jelled.  Top with Butter Rum Sauce.

Butter Rum Sauce:

Melt butter and slowly stir in confectioner’s sugar.  Add Rum and heat until bubbly.  Pour over each serving of Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding.

OMG! I come from a background where nothing beats 'Sweet Potato Pie'. Well, this recipe is totally giving our family favorite a run for the money! It's easy to make (foolproof really) and is always a hit wherever I take it. I've added a twist by soaking the raisins in rum for a few days before making the bread pudding. YUM! YUM! YUM!

This is the BEST bread pudding recipe that have ever had! I love it. The only thing that I do to change it up a little is use the sauce as a dipping sauce because its great with or without it. Love it!

This dessert is very rich and you need to eat with a big tall glass of milk. It is my son-in-law's favorite.

I've made this several times for work - it is VERY popular - but today I made it and didn't have any regular rum - I used Malibu Coconut Rum .. it turned out great!! Thank you Paula!

Tried this for 1st time. Used regular honey dip donuts. I would bake for 45 minutes instead of 1 Hr, and would put 3-4 tspns of cinnamon * This is extremely sweet. LQQks like a danish cake.

Although this sounded really appealing, it was WAY too sweet for me. It all went to waste, actually.

I made this for a get together and it was a huge hit. I will definitely use it again.
