Fixed this for Super Bowl and it was a "Touch Down". Everyone loved it! Once guest called it bacon crack because it was so addicting, she kept eating it.

This is a recipe to turn guests inside out craving more. ALWAYS a huge hit at parties and receptions that gather many remarks like "Who brought this?" and "Can I have the recipe?" I'm always willing to share and enjoy telling that it is a Paula Dean recipe. Have baked at both suggested temps and time - I prefer the shorter time of 40 minutes at 350 and use Keeblers Club Crackers.

If in a big hurry, place on paper towels in the microwave, in fact, I prepare mine this way now because it does not take more than 5 - 6 minutes. Guests love them......Never any leftovers

About 10 years ago I devised a very similar recipe. I use sesame seed breadsticks and wrap a strip a bacon around it. I sprinkle them with parmesean before they go into the oven. When they come out I sprinkle again and serve them hot. Delish!!

These are wonderful! Made these a few years ago and they are always requested at family gatherings now. My mother is their biggest fan. I use a variety of crackers and a variety of cheeses on these tasty little morsels. These will be a family favorite for many years to come.
