I made this today 11/01/09, in my slow cooker. I gotta tell ya this is SO EASY! It made my house smell wonderful and when my neighbor stopped by to borrow sugar, she asked if she could just stay and maybe nap on my couch because the smell made her feel 'warm and fuzzy' like the memories of her childhood when her gma would cook at the holidays. Don't sit there reading this..go MAKE IT! You won't be sorry. My hubby also loved coming home from hard day at work to a warm and lovely smelling home.
