What is your favorite episode or show with Paula Deen?

I would have to say for me it’s her wedding special. I enjoyed seeing the details of the shower and the wedding, even down to her spray tan with her friends.

I love the wedding special too.  And, I think my next favorite is when the go to England And France on vacation. I loved the scene with the French man at the chicken stand!! That was too funny and then when Michael surprised her at the end by having the boys, and Brooke show up on that roof top…. I was crying right along with her!!

The Deen Family Vacation to St. Lucia is one of my favorites. I have watched it a couple of times and still “crack up” when she went deep sea fishing and the boys pulled a prank on her by putting a dead, frozen fish on the line. The look on her face was priceless!!

Happy Birthday Paula!!

On her earlier shows she would eat something so good it make her eyes cross and she would convulse a couple times at how good it was! LOL I loved that! Those episodes are priceless.

I just saw this episode last Saturday night…what a hoot! I enjoyed seeing the family having such a well deserved good time, and LOL throughout the show.
The wedding special would be my next favorite. Some friends from another board and myself were lucky enough to have a luncheon at The Lady & Sons with Paula, Michael, Jamie and Bobby in attendance a few years ago, and when Paula demonstrated how she and her friends had the spray tan applied for the wedding, we were rolling in the aisles! Paula is just as endearing in person as you would expect, there’s not a fake bone in her body!

I enjoy most all of her cooking shows but yeah, the specials are the favorites.  The St Lucia, the wedding and the trip to England and France were all great.

You’re right, Sharonkay.  The chicken stand was a riot.

The St. Lucia special is one of the things that really got me hooked to not just Paula, but to her whole entire family.  After watching that episode, you could really tell how down to Earth they all are.  The startled look on Paula’s face was priceless!
I was actually fortunate enough to go on the Alaska cruise with Paula and her family (as well as her extended family) this past year, and the St. Lucia trip was actually mentioned at one of the events.  She is so animated and comical when telling stories.  The whole family gets in on the story telling too.  It’s great fun.  My cheeks actually hurt from laughing and smiling so much on that trip!  One thing that I’ve caught myself telling people who ask about my trip is that Paula (and everyone in her family) is so normal!  Love them!!!

I loved the St. Lucia show, also.  My other favorites are any of the cooking shows when the boys join her.  They always add lots of humor.

I loved her on Iron Chef with Cat Cora, those 2 southern ladies were dynamite together, Paula brings a freshness and humor to what she does, and as a Southern lady myself, she represents us well!!
