Thanks for the info grin

another good site is coupons.com

we got a 1.00 coupon off of velveeta and several other
pantry staples. We have also signed up for
newsletters from kraft,  etc… and they often offer some good cents off coupons.

One of my favorite sites for cheap scratch recipes is http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com . With such a large family, we have used a lot of her premix recipes like the hot chocolate one to save a lot of money on mixes. Her biscuit and bread recipes aren’t bad at all either smile

Best wishes,
Eri

You can also register at most of the name brand sites; like Nestle, Kraft, Smithfield.  I know Kraft has a second site called First
Taste that lets you sample products and offer an opinion.  You get coupons for full size items.  Great way to try before you buy.

not only is there a place to print coupons but they also show deals store by store and will actually give you a scenario for what to get at each store for the best deals.

A cheap way I buy food for my family of 5 is through a church program called Angel Food Ministries. Here is the website:
http://www.angelfoodministries.com
You do not have to be low-income or anything like that, anyone can participate. The food is good, many name brand products, some repackaged with Angel Food labels because they buy in bulk. Outstanding deal! There is a locator on the website to help find one near yoU!

I am about to start getting this food along with a few neighbors and friends.  Do you all think it is worth it?  Is the food really good?  I admit I am a little hesistant abotu starting this.  But, I am willing to give it a shot.

Definitely worth it! You order by the month…so, if you do not like it, you do not have to order again. Watch the menus….some months are better than others. Name brand products…and it saves us a bunch of money! I recommend it to anyone looking to save $$. My husband loves it. I occasionally miss a month, mostly because I will be unavailable on the pick-up date. But I have always loved it.

The food we have ever received has always been delicious…we haven’t received anything not good yet!  It is WELL worth the money!
