Paula is the best of the best. I saw her in Nashville in 2005 and had the privilege of doing her cooking show on 2006 at Uncle Bubba’s restaurant. He is great. As a team they are hilarious. You will be glad you made the trip. Suzjane

Dress is usually casual, go for comfort, I don’t know what the auditorium is like, we were in a very large room at the Opry Land Hotel, it was mixed dress, some were dressy, most were casual. Bring anything you can get autographed, such as her cookbooks, she signed all of mine. She may have changed her routine, I don’t know if she will actually do any cooking, but if she has a kitchen set up, you can count on it. My visit in Nashville was a friday night where we were served finger foods and had a one on one talk/book signing, then on saturday we met in a huge room and she and her group cooked shrimp and grits, out of this world delicious, then she signed books again, there were about 4 to 6 hundred people, very crowded. Her cooking show in Savannah was the best, only 60 people and we had pictures made with her and Uncle Bubba, they are the greatest. She is the same in person or o tv. Have fun. Sorry to hear about your daughter. Suzjane

My cousin Patti(the 2 ‘P’s in a Pod) are coming to see Paula also, we’re so Excited. We went to Savannah last June & did Paula Deen’s Tour, met Uncle Bubba, & ate soo much!!! I’m wearing my autographed UB apron “Put some South in you Mouth”!! Hopefully Paula will autograph it for me also! And some of her cookbooks, I expect there will be items of hers that we can purchase probably already signed. I recommend anyone who is a Paula fan to make that trip to Savannah, you won’t be disappointed, it is a beautiful city. The Lady & Sons was Scrumptious & so was UB’s Oyster House….Looking forward to a grand ole time with everyone, I know it’ll be a blast!!!!

I, too, am going to Jackson, MS in March and am looking forward to it.  I have been to the Lady & Sons a couple of times.  Met Bobby & Jamie there the first trip, but Paula was just returning from her honeymoon and was not at the restaurant.  This past October was in Savannah, took the Paula Deen Tour and ate at Uncle Bubba’s.  He was there and just as personable as Paula!  We are excited about going to Jackson and hope to get to meet Paula and get some great autographs.

With so many people being there, it may be difficult for everyone to talk with her. The Lady and Son’s is great, I didn’t see her or the boys there, only her and UB at the cooking show. We also went on the tour, it was so fun, even my husband enjoyed it. The only reason for you not to enjoy the show would be that so many people will be there, our show in Nashville just wasn’t organized, people broke in line with no one to stop them, hope it is great for everyone.

I am located south of Jackson, in Louisiana, and it was rather stormy here as well. News report here in New Orleans area is flash floods until saturday at 7 am. Good luck at the show, there will be hundreds in her audience. You will have the best time ever. She is so much fun, she is beautiful inside and out, a great hostess.

Good morning, Ya’ll!!!! It looks like it’s going to be a bright sunny day here in centeral Mississippi for Paula after many nights for stormy weather. My heart goes out to our fellow Mississippians in the Margee, Clarksdale, Gralandville or other areas which lost homes or had storm damage or hurt:(

Had a great time at the Paula Deen Show in Jackson, MS yesterday.  Paula was delightful, as always.  Got to meet her after the show and visit with both her and Michael while they were signing my books.  This was a highlight of my month.  Hope to be able to see her again at the very next opportunity.

Wow Shir, I was there too.  That was just such an awesome weekend for our group of ladies.  We laughed so much. How in the world did you get your books signed and visit with her? I lugged my children’s cookbook around all day in hopes of getting a signing, but never saw where that happened. I am the lady that gave her the invitation to my Christmas Party at the end of the show.  I hope she at least got a chance to read the letter….a girl can hope can’t she?
