Paula Deen - You are one amazing lady! Have so much respect for you and the way you teach and entertain us everyday with your fabulous show. Also really enjoy when you have Michael, Bobby and Jamie on, too. Your recipes are so delicious and fun to make. Question about Bobby's Recipe: What is the Sweetener used to cut the calorie content in the chocolate syrup and Swiss Miss cocoa mix? My body cannot tolerate the artificial sweetener, Aspartame, that's why I ask. My doctor told me to avoid it. Can't wait to visit Savannah and dine at The Lady and Sons! -- Big Hugs to You and Yours

I have enjoyed looking at Bobby’s Lighten It Up recipes.  They all sound great!  Does he have a magazine or book I can purchase? Where and how much?
I want to try my hand at cooking but want to keep it healthy.  I saw him on the Dr. Oz show and was interested from there on.
Thank you

Thank you so much for making some of your Mom’s wonderful recipes lighter.  It would be good if we could enter them into our recipe box like we do your Mom’s.

I have been to Savannah several times and always make sure to stop at Lady & Sons.  I have a picture that I treasure of my Cousin and I with you and Jamie.

Keep up the good work.

Dear Paula
while I was unemployed I had the pleasure of watching you on the food network.  You are delightful and you have a beautiful family.
I have one question to ask of you - if you have no family member in the food business and you would love getting into the industry how would you get started?  Sincerely Nora

my mema & Paula are cousin’s & she makes sure she tells everybody that’ll listen (Aubry Hiers was her daddy)I love your momma’s recipes & I try to lighten them up as much as I can cause I cook for her & I swear I don’t know if its in the genes or what but she thinks she’s supposed to put a ton of butter or bacon drippin’s in everything so to avoid cardiac arrest I cook as much as possible & make every substitute I can think of without ruining the flavor , I think what you are doin’ is great & very helpful…Thanks

Please, please make these recipes printable. I love the lighter recipes and love Paula’s recipes, but it is so frustrating to have to copy and paste them when you could put a tab so we could print them or even email them. Thanks,

I’m thrilled to see & try some of these lighter dishes.  Thanks, Bobby.  Had a fun time visiting Savannah, Ga in 2009, and luncheon at Lady’s & Son’s.

I bet it would be good if you used frozen coffee cubes vs plain ice cubes too.

I cant do that much sugar ...  but… using swiss miss sensible “sugar free” (Which is great) and sugar free syrup - which is also fat free - will go well with fat free or even reg 1/2 n 1/2 and produce a low enough sugar count that even i can enjoy - also using a flavored sugar free instant coffee would add a lot like the cafe vienna sugar free from gen mills international coffees ... adds a cinimmon flavor that goes well with the chocolate - encreasing the falvor without fat.  Thanks so much for the idea.  A “cool” idea smile
