Creamy Lobster Rounds Recipe by Paula Deen

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup green onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 (10 oz) fresh lobster tails, meat removed and coarsely chopped
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • bread, made into 3 1/2 dozen toasted rounds
  • fresh chives, chopped


In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add green onion, pepper, and garlic; cook, stirring frequently; about 5 minutes. Stir in wine and lemon juice, cook 5 minutes. Add lobster, and cook 3 to 5 minutes, or until pink and firm. Add cream cheese, stirring until combined. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Remove from heat. Spoon lobster mixture evenly over toast rounds. Garnish with chopped fresh chives, if desired. Serve Immediately.
