I love alot of your recipes and watch you all the time. I wish the very best for you. My dad also is a diabetic. It's hard when your whole life you ate a certain way, then all of a sudden it catches up with you. It's hard to give up all those good things we used to eat. Like my Dad always says: "If it taste good, spit it out". Ha,ha! Very best to you and your family, from mine!

The lemon version of ooey gooey butter cake is my and my family's favorite. My son-in-law always requests this cake when we all get together to eat. Don't know how I ever made a meal til I started watching Paula & using her cookbooks. The corn casserole is one of my very favorite dishes & the banana bread is the best recipe I've tried. Thank you, from one southern gal to another!

I love reading about your family and seeing your pictures. I respect the fact that you are teaching your son's family values because so much of that seems to be going by the wayside anymore..maybe someday we will meet and by that time your son's may even have their own cooking show.lol..wishing you lots and lots of love from this country girl's kitchen to Brooke Deen's kitchen of love.
