Dear Paula, My Granny was from Alabama and she always made cracked wheat dressing for our Thanksgiving dinners. She left us the recipe, but no one can make it like she did. Do you have any cracked wheat dressing recipes that we could try and see if they are what we remember? Happy Thanksgiving!

Why do you put a sleeve of crackers in your dressing ? What does it do for the dressing? I have heard about it but never have tried adding crackers to my dressings or stuffing.
