My four year old daughter and I were watching an episode of your cooking show. Right in the middle of it, she made the comment "If she was my grandma, I would looooooooove her!" It was too adorable not to share with you. We now watch all the episodes they play on GAC. ![]()

Just browsing this Sun. afternoon and found some great looking recipes, quick ones, that I plan to use this week! Actually, was searching for something different as I'm planning to do a Valentine's Day Dinner for our friends (all mid-70's to 80). It's always a crowd and I felt this would be a great way for us to be safely at home and not standing in a long line for dinner! My husband spent 3-1/2 yrs at Hunter USAF Base in Savannah back in the mid-late l950s. Our last trip to Savannah has been more than 35 yrs ago. I'd love to come again and if, or when I do, you can bet we'll come to eat at your place! Everything looks lucious and I know it would be. Also, I can't wait for Father's Day when I can use your idea of decorations! What a fantastic look! Take care of yourself, Paula, and we wish you good health, joy and happiness for many years. Sincerely, Betty Martin

Pistachio crusted Salmon mummmmmmmy and then some the lemon cream sauce is so smooth and tasty melting in your mouth kind of good. I will make this often for my man and I. With a side of wild rice and buttered carrots (can't forget the butter only cut in half of what I used to use) it makes a great meal.

Paula, I read your book. And I think what you have done is amazing. You had strength and just never gave up. I know since your news has come out you have been criticized by some. My words of wisdom to them "MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS" The only people you should concern yourself with are your own family and friends. Yes, being in the public eye means some responsibility to the fans but your life is yours. Something I wanted to say to you since I read the book. I too was in the situation as you were(the married man) and he was a long time friend etc. $$ and allbut I took him to court over some money and won but getting it not so easy. What I went was just as you wrote it. Thank you for helping me end a really bad time in my life. You are an amazing woman. YOU GO GIRL

Paula I know the news about your health was hard at first...but then again things don't just happen. In the real world there is not a really good book on how to cook with Type 2. So maybe this is the answer people have been looking for. You are smart, you can cook and it taste good....so..take this negative situation and turn it around to be a blessing to many...Start cooking for a cure!!! This would help so many and that seems to be the hardest part..finding food that is within the diet range but still looks and taste good. God will bless you in this new adventure in your life. Thank you for all you have done in the past and looking forward to all the good you still have to do.

To Ronald Bryant: Try Paula's apple cake recipe "Grandgirl's Fresh Apple Cake From Georgia." It is sooooo good. I think you'll like it!
