It makes me so glad that y’all have taken to my lighter recipes so much. With the holidays right around the corner, I thought that I’d put together a special Thanksgiving menu together full of some of my mama’s famous recipes that I’ve lightened up. Help yourself to my lighter side dishes and desserts without sacrificing any of my mom’s classic flavors. Now you’ve got no excuse not to go back for seconds!

Bobby, are you still single? If you are, there is someone in Northeastern Ohio that is interested in you.... and your momma (just to give her a BIG hug!!!) I have been inspired by your mom and her story! She is amazing and has given me the courage to create a story of my own! I am a single mother working my way through school to be a dietician to support my family! I want to help others find freedom in healthy lifestyles without compromising flavor! I can't wait to try some of your recipes!!! With kind regards, Dawn Vaughan that single girl from Northeastern Ohio smile

I LOVE mac& cheese, but being a typw2 diabetic I can’t eat it that much if any, without sending my sugar high. But this recipe is lower in carbs and no one in my family knew the difference, and my sugar stayed in check too. Thank you

To Ronald Bryant: Try Paula's apple cake recipe "Grandgirl's Fresh Apple Cake From Georgia." It is sooooo good. I think you'll like it!
