I printed out the recipe for Mashed Baked Potatoes and I hope to try it with some friends in the next week. HOWEVER...because of being an insulin dependent diabetic, I really need the amount of each serving and the Carb value. I don't eat white potatoes often, but this sounds great and I'd like to try it. THANKS!!

Paula, I have to agree with "Anonymous" (June 20 13). You ARE a beautiful and talented woman whom I have looked up to for many years. Your recipes are devine and I have duplicated many. I am much like you, I love, love, LOVE being in the kitchen. I am a "self-made" cook, (no culinary, just trial and error)and seeing the love in my loved ones eyes as they have a meal from my kitchen, is priceless. Keep your head up beautiful lady, you have more supporters than you can shake a stick at and you will be back in your fans kitchens in no time. You have followers and I'm sure I am speaking for lots of them...FoodNetwork is no longer welcome in my home. Much love and happiness to you and yours, Malina

Paula, you are a wonderful and talented lady. I have watched your show for years and have made just about every one of your recipes. Don't change to make others happy. Your cooking is what country is all about. Everything is good in some form of moderation. No need to stop adding butter or stop making fried foods just to appeal to others. Just be the BEAUTIFUL you that you are!

I have made your strawberry cake numerous times and received huge compliments. Sometimes I bake and freeze enough layers for 2 cakes which ymakes them very handy for a quick dessert. I have used just 1 layer few times if I do not need a big cake. This is probably my all-time favorite cake!! Thanks Paula for a great recipe!! Sandy

Paula: I think what I love most about your show is the true enjoyment we see on your face as you cook with your family. Segments with Jamie, Bobby and Michael are truly my favorites. I love it when my family gets in the kitchen to cook with me and that is what warms my heart so much when I see you cook with the men in your life. Your love for them and their love for you is so very evident.

Hello Paula, I have a question, on some of your shows you have green plates that are bordered in Dragonflies. Can you please tell me where I can purchase a set of these plates? Thanks so much!

By Sherry Schriber on July 02, 2010

Paula,
I had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant in Savannah last year while visiting from the UK and it was a meal to be remembered. Great food.
Bless you.

These desserts sound wonderful but here in Phoenix we don’t do a lot of baking in July. The air conditioning works hard enough without adding the oven heat. Can you recommend a non-baked summer dessert besides the Not Yo Mama’s Banana Pudding? ( I already do a banana pie with a graham cracker crust that everyone likes) Thanks for all the recipes and fun you share with us! You remind me so much of my aunt Iris in Texas.

Hi Paula,

My husband and I just returned from a beautiful Alaskan cruise.  One day my dream is to go on one of your cruises!  It would be spectacular to cruise with you, not to mention, be able to meet you in person.  Love your shows, recipes, humor, and especially your love of family and people in general.

Paula - I wish you could know how much you help some of us in ways other than in the kitchen.  I’ve had a pretty crummy couple of days.  When I opened my e-mail today, there was my Paula Deen newsletter.  Not only is it filled with things I can’t wait to read about and make, it’s just plain pretty to look at!  I could feel myself relax, and let my attitude change.  Thank you, Paula, for all you are and do!
