Good Morning, I would like to know the color of paint (color name and brand) of the paints in Paula Deen's home. Thanks, Pat

I love watching your shows and I check out your website for recipes on a weekly basis. It just amazes me the recipes you have. I wish I could meet you someday, that would be the hightlight of my cooking life. What I was wondering was how and when did you get started cooking professionally? Also, are your daughter-in-laws jealous of you? You seem to be such a nice lady I can't imagine anyone not liking you or your cooking. Keep on cooking Paula!

Paula, your son Jamie is as handsome and sweet as pie, like his Momma. We adore you, Michael and Bobby too, as we all watch you on the Food Network, everyday single day....(I mean the whole Lang Clan: Nana Lang, Papa Lang, Kristen, Bri and Eli; even Uncle Matt and Uncle Adam at Michigan State University, tune in for Paula's Best Dishes... From our Kitchen to Yours). We brought our daughter and 2 young grandbabies to Savannah for the first time, April, 2010. What a fabulous place you have! We stayed just a block away, across from the public fountain-where our grandbabies frolicked for hours, close to you, close to the market, riverfront, and anything else we could walk to. We went on your tours and adored both your place and your brother's. Sadly, you were on a book signing tour; however, we were fortunate enough to meet that sweet son Jamie. Our granddaughter at the time wasn't even 3, but she remembers Jamie Dean. Our in-home cants, "Who wants to go to Savannah, GA to see Paula Dean? I do, I do!" We are thinking of heading down in May, right after our boys are out of college, so that they too can enjoy your downhome hospitality. We love to travel-and we must say, "THIS IS NOW ONE OF MOST FAVORITE DESTINATIONS"!!! We couldn't think of a more wholesome and entertaining adventure for our family than this. Our wish for this next trip? To see, and possibly meet, "Our Paula Dean"! God Bless, The Lang's Grand Rapids, MI

Hi Paula, I am a daily viewer, and got the idea to make a Paula Deen basket for our Silent Auction. I have already purchased several items to put in the basket. I would love to have an autographed cookbook and perhaps another item to add to my basket. I am a physician's spouse and we do fundraising at our annual convention in April for Medical Student Scholarships and our Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention program. We have an official Solicatation letter on offical stationery. You can contact me at the above email address. We would love to hear from you. Continue to give us love and best dishes. My Mother's carrot cake has 3 jars of baby food, 1 can of crushed pineapple and currants instead of raisens. Give it a try. We call it the Baby Food Carrot cake. Give it a try; it's a family favorite. Leanne

My husband surprised me for my 40th BDay with a trip to Savannah and of course we had an amazing Sunday Brunch at the Lady & Sons. As we were waiting in line, I was wondering why someone doesn't open the gift shop or come out with Coffee & muffins for me to buy, Lord knows I would have bought anything Paula Dean. just food for thought, since that visit, my 5 year old wants to know when he will get to go see Paula. I said you can have her cooking honey but I can't promise Paula will be there. Try explaining to a 5 year old why Paula isnt "in her kitchen" LOL Naomi & Phil Hosey oh yes Tristan too

I have been to Savannah and loved visiting at the Lady & Son's, Uncle Bubba's and the rest of Savannah. I had never been to Savannah before my trip in August and it was all I had hoped it would be. Your store was great then and looks even more interesting now. I guess I will just have to schedule another trip to check out the new store and hopefully get to meet you in person. I am an avid fan and look forward to continuing to follow all of the wonderful things you do for other's and all of your delicious cooking.

The one thing my teenage daughter and I still have in common is Paula Deen! We get quality time together during the shows, and then carry it into the kitchen. Having one thing that can still bring us together and gets us talking is worth all the gold in the world. Thanks for letting me have my daughter to myself for just a little longer.
