Everyone has a story…especially the Strudel Queen.
Long before I was a Culinary Producer and Head Food Stylist for Paula’s television shows, there was a skeleton crew making Food Network history in upstate NY. Listen closely and you’ll hear about wonderful memories while taping the first Paula’s Home Cooking shows as recounted by the originals.
Eat Something Homemade and always listen,
Libbie
This video was shot last year while attending the International Food Stylists/Food Photographers Conference (yes, there is one) in Boston, MA. We were a four top for dinner at Todd English’s restaurant, Olives. The other three place cards at the table read: Michelle White (Director of Branding for Paula Deen Enterprises), Maureen Luchejko (Food Stylist/Recipe Developer/Writer) and Vera Eisenberg (Food Stylist….Strudel Queen).

Hi Paula,
You remind me of my Momma so much in your cooking along with your personality! She couldn’t cook without butter, sugar & frying! Sept. 9th, will be her 8th year having Angel Food cake in Heaven. (still miss her so much). I have been blessed to eat at your place once and Bubba’s twice.! We have a “Bubba” too. Everybody should have one in their family!lol Paula, you both have that “touch” for homemade cooking. You’ve passed this talent along to your “good looking” son’s! My husband is the cook & baker boy at our house due to being born with a mild case of Cerebral Palsy. I am his official taster, we work very well together!! Being challenged has never stopped my God given dreams. I write, type, paint, etc.., with my mouth. Thank God for good strong teeth! Paula, keep on doing what you do best, talking & cooking! Groover got one of the best when he caught you, Girl!! Blessings from my heart to yours’, Terry:-) P.S. Look me up on fb.

Good for Paula. She is so unusually likeable and seemingly down to earth; its nice to hear first hand how easy she is to work with. And props for the long hours and hard work she put in to get to where she is now. Yay Paula!!!
