Hi Paula - first and foremost, I LOVE YOU and I LOVE YOUR RECIPES!!! smile I recently saw a show although I can't find the recipe anywhere. You had two young ladies on that are twins and they made a stuffed cabbage soup recipe with meatballs. They derived it from an old recipe from their Grandmother when she made stuffed cabbage. Is there ANY way you could help me find this recipe? I'm so wanting to make it but don't remember the exact ingredients or measurements. I will be forever grateful - keep up the AWESOME work - you're my favorite! Patti smile

Dear Paula, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your shows, your cookbooks, and your recipes. Sorry you are having controversy on being a diabetic and finally telling the world. That was up to you to tell and it's up to the individual to make your recipes and eat them. I too am a type 2 diabetic now on insulin only, but when it comes to special occasions, I make one of your cakes. Everyone I make even for one of those events or for church everyone raves about them. I will admit, I am one that tries some myself. So please continue being yourself and I will continue to watch and cook. Thanks for all you do! Charlotte

This may be a blessing in disguise, Paula. Who would be a better public spokesperson for changing eating habits, but America's favorite cook!? Millions of viewers watch your show, and now you can touch those viewers and maybe help them to identify their own health issues as you show us how to eat healthier! I guess this is a "if life hands you lemons, make lemonade" moment! Kudos to y'all and God Bless!

Dear Paula, you are who you are and please don't change. I personally think that your health problems are your personal business and no one else's but you and your family's. After all you are the queen of southern cooking. This is how you have made your living and I won't quit buying your magazine just because you chose not to share this sooner. I am really disappointed in the other chef's who claim to be your friend and then don't defend you. Yes, I am also a diabetic but I can cook your recipee's and eat them in moderation. Hold your head up high and know that your fans still love you. I know I do!

Paula I love your show I have MS and I know what you mean about having to control your diet but I think your food is awesome and I have tried several of your dishes and they all rock. And you are so right as long as you eat food in moderation you can eat just about anything.. Your an inspiration to me so keep doing what your doing.... Big Hugs and Much Love from my kitchen to yours. Sincerely Julie Wolfe

You are my Heroette! When I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes, I kept it from my family. I have a very loving, supportive and sometimes nosey family. I had to learn how to deal with the diabetes on my own, before I was ready to share with anyone. My family is very supportive and understood my need for privacy. I understand your need for privacy and totally respect and admire your decisions. Diabetes is a very personal thing to deal with. May God Bless you and your loving family as you strive to heal yourself and help us with "our journey!" I LOVE BUTTER!

Paula, it breaks my heart to hear of your illness. One minute they tell me I'm pre-diabetic and the next one says i'm not, not sure why other than my own eating habits. Can't wait to see what you have come up with for us folks that love to eat,I know I only need to take it more seriously on a daily basis. I know if i don't pay more attention it will be a fact not a possible for me. God Bless you, and as they say here in the south Y'all come on we can overcome it.

We are wishing you better health and control of diabetes (you can beat/master it). We were once given a wonderful steak sauce (Pinot Noir?) from your collection. Do you still make it or do you now have a recipe for it that we can see. We really PREFER our steaks with your wonderfully delicious sauce. Nancy Ayers
