Hi Paula, I have a recipe that has been in the family for YEARS!! When we lived in Illinois my made it for Christmas every year. It turned out perfect and is one of my favorites. It is a Poppyseed Cake. The recipes tell you to pour half the batter in a greased bundt pan. Then you sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar in a circle with out touching the edges of the pan. Pour remaining batter over top and bake. Here is the problem, it ALWAYS

Paula, I have looked everywhere for the 5 things you must eat on New Years Day. I am in my sixties, and just cant remember. My Mom always served these foods as the first thing on New Years Day. My husband and his 5 Children are from CA, which is where I am now. This is what I can Remember: Black Eyed Peas, Sweet Potato. Pork,Spinich, but what am I missing. I love your show, and your appearence on Dr Oz. I know if anyone knows, a great southern lady as yourself , would. Thank You, Carol Holmes Jackson

My sister watches your tv shows all of the time and she wanted me to find a certain recipe for her as she doesn't have a computer as she cannot see hardly at all. Maybe you can e-mail it to me, I tried to find it for her she saw it either Dec.31 or Jan l. It had ham, bread, sauce, cheese, and eggs on top of it. I have really 2 sister that wants that recipe.
