This will be my first Mothers Day WITHOUT having my own mother here...I lost her to breast cancer on November 28,2011. To celebrate mom and myself (a mother of four) I have decided to create a memorable Mothers Day Brunch. If you have any favorites, and wouldn't mind sharing them, I would appreciate it. With Great Thanks & Appreciation, Marguerite

Happy Mothers Day Paula, Enjoy your show and recipes on this site. I too am diabetic and it is so great that you have acknowledged this disease that is effecting so many. I especially enjoy Bobby's show where he changes the favorite recipes of yours into healthier versions. This makes our recipes we love to make exciting again and quilt free. I am Italian and it was hard for me to think , Oh. no I cannot make this dish for my family. Then once my personal fears settled my Pioneer Spirit was on a quest to revise my recipes to family healthy favorites. My children were already eating Vegetarian and Heart healthy so these changes are great. There is one request, my son wanted a Maple Cream pie (Restaurant Style) is has a no bake filling and no gelatin. Do you have a recipe for one? My search has not been successful. It is a firm cream filling like custard so must have a lot of eggs and Maple flavored. Thank You again for all your fun shows and recipes. Best wishes on facing Diabetes with us who were scared to death when diagnosed. Continued Good Health and God Bless You and Your Captain and Family. Bea Didio

All of the recipes that I have made from Paula's Books and Magazines which is many have never disappointed me or my family. She is in my opinion one of the very best cooks in the USA. Thanks for the website as well as the many publications you all have done for all of us cooks out here. Her personality and family are wonderful and are the kind of people you would love to sit down and eat a meal with and enjoy the conversaton and laughs. Thanks again so much, nola

Hi Paula, I would like to see if you can help me find a recipe. Years ago when I was growing up in the 50s and 60s, there was a corner grocery store that sold fresh meat. Well anyway they sold ground ham patties and they had a slice of bacon around it. To cook them, you would fry them and serve it as a breakfast with eggs, grits and biscuits. I was wondering if you had ever heard of ham fixed this way. It was delicious. Thanks, Emily Huber
