Homemade Halloween Treats for Everyone!

Are you having a Halloween party this year? Or do you want to have some extra snacks for your friends to munch on when they stop by with trick or treaters? Here are some fantastically spooky fun and festive recipes as well as a few tricks for making fabulous treats.

Crunchy Crab Cake Spiders

Crunchy crab cake spiders are a delicious appetizer. Use the crab cake as the body and long thin strips of red bell peppers for the legs. Voila you have a creepy spider.

Ghostly Grilled Cheese

Ghostly grilled cheese are sure to be a hit with the little ones. They can even get in on the fun of making them because they are so easy!! All you need is a ghost shaped cookie cutter, which can be found at most large crafts stores, some bread, cheese and butter. Use the cookie cutter to cut out the center of the bread and munch on the scraps while they cook.

Ghoulish Grins

Ghoulish grins are a fun and healthy snack that the kids will also enjoy making. Two apple slices make the grin, fill the center with peanut butter and use marshmallows or other small candy for the teeth. Set a bunch of them on a large platter they will be sure to crack a smile.

Deviled Eyeballs

Deviled eyeballs are a real creepy snack. Use these helpful tips to turn an average deviled egg into a realistic looking eyeball. The pimento stuffed olive works perfect as the center of the eye and red food coloring to draw in the veins. Your friends will be so impressed.

Monster Mash

Monster mash is a yummy black bean dip. Chili peppers and taco seasoning give it that great spicy bite. Serve it with some tortilla chips for dipping.

The cheese ball goblin will make a great centerpiece for your table of treats. Trick your friends into thinking you spent hours on this simple cheese sculpture. The green tortilla chip ears, purple cabbage hair and olive eyes bring this cheese ball to life. Serve it with an assortment of crackers and bread and let your guests giggle while they nibble.
