I made Pumpkin Bread from your "The Lady and Sons" cookbook. I didn't have quite enough pumpkin so I added from a can of yams to make the amount needed.It was a great sub. didn't take away from the flavor of the pumpkin. I have since made it with the right amount of pumpkin and it's soooooooo good. Keep the recipes and books coming.

I am a southern lady born and raised in Tennessee, and my family and I love,love, love Ms. Paula Deen! We are big fans of her cooking shows on Food Network! Every dish she makes reminds me of those long lazy summer days at my wonderful grandmother's house, and all of the recipes she created in her kitchen for us with love. There is nothing more amazing than those meals made just for us by our Mother's, Grandmother's and Aunt's in the south.
